TAB Project In the Works: Dando Residence

TAB Project In the Works: Dando Residence
The future site of the Dando Residence will overlook the National Forest and Cordillera.

Here at TAB Associates, we take great joy in helping people build their comfort zone — a place to call home. One of the projects our architecture planning services are being used for, right now, is the Dando Residence.

This residence, situated in a very private Aspen forest, in the gated community of Colorow, is a timber and stone structure of 8,200 square feet. It is in the works to be outdoor living friendly, which shows in the design of the large exterior, with at grade and raised patios.

The patios are covered and uncovered. This will allow for outdoor living and entertainment all year round, with phenomenal views of the surrounding National Forest and the Cordillera golf course. The home itself will include four bedrooms, five bathrooms, powder room, living room, kitchen, dining, office, family, and exercise rooms.

Features and amenities of the Dando Residence include a water feature, pool, hot tub, three-car garage, and tractor storage.

Current TAB Project: Chen 3 Timber Springs Residence

Current TAB Project: Chen 3 Timber Springs Residence
Chen 3 is a collaboration of ideas and styles that will form a luxury log cabin for family retreats.

TAB Associates is proud to be working with Andy Schifanelli of Andy Schifanelli Enterprises, Inc., a General Contractor, and Tracie Schumacher of Studio 80 to present the beautiful home design, Chen 3 Timber Springs Residence.

This project is all about open spaces, with the upper level overlooking the entryway and great room, and entry itself overlooking the great room. For more open space, we’ve used a 20-foot wide Wieland door (fully pocketing), opening onto the patio, just off the grass play field. The outdoor patio faces south for optimal winter warmth, with an alternative of radiant heaters in case the cold becomes too much.

This 8,000 square foot home design project factors in the importance of privacy for the whole family, including the four bedrooms being tucked away upstairs, making them quiet, safe havens even when there is noise coming from the great room.

None of the square footage goes to waste, with beds for 18 occupants, a private office, and a study/classroom for summer school, and an unfinished basement for a future theater or free space. This project also includes parking for four golf cart sized toys.

TAB Planning Project: The Ocean Club at Flamingo Bay

TAB Planning Project: The Ocean Club at Flamingo Bay
After completion, The Ocean Club will be a hot spot for summer travel in Costa Rica.

Here at TAB Associates, we have a great enthusiasm for architecture planning services, and we feel it shows in one of our past projects, The Ocean Club at Flamingo Bay in Costa Rica. This is one of our master planning projects, and we are proud to be on lead design. We have teamed up with Ossenbach, Pendones & Bonilla S.A. for construction administration, documentation, and further development.

The club, once completed, will have 300,000 square feet of luxury living and vacationing, with 126 condos and villas, infinity edge pools, cabanas, a clubhouse, and ample dual-level parking, leaving many vacationers reluctant to leave. Comfort and beauty are tantamount elements for this project, but the efficient use of space has not been neglected.

The floor plans — two bedrooms and four bedrooms — all include a study, and are designed to maximize comfort and privacy. Additionally, they are practical, with en suite bath for each bedroom.

When it comes to architecture planning services, here at TAB Associates, we enjoy working with the surrounding local landscape to build incredible structures that fit in with the scenery yet stand out for their true merits in design and construction.
